Stories begin with the director.

The Odia Film & Television Directors Association (OFTDA) is a registered body representing professional directors working in Odia cinema, television, OTT and digital media.
From the earliest reels of Odia film to today's streaming era, the director has remained the keeper of story, vision and craft. OFTDA exists to safeguard that role — through fellowship, training, welfare and a single, unified voice.
We work with producers, broadcasters, guilds and government bodies to advance fair practice, fair pay and creative freedom for every director who calls Odisha home.
Vision
An empowered, respected community of Odia directors whose work moves audiences worldwide.
Mission
To unite, support and elevate the directors of Odisha through advocacy, education and welfare.
Values
Craft. Integrity. Solidarity. Heritage. Innovation.
